Drone Survey Company Utilize Inspection Rover At MGT
Drone survey company DJM Aerial Solutions are commonly known for their drone survey and aerial activities and services, however, their latest project involved the use of their remote inspection rover, to carry out a visual survey of the internal elements of recently installed 18″ pipework at Teesside’s Biomass power station MGT.
Drone survey and inspection go hand in hand and recently DJM Aerial Solutions were approached by a leading name to provide visual data of the underside of a storage tank containing nitrogen.
The remote inspection rover was designed to be used for close distance visual examination of assets. With both a variable light source and remote camera and gimbal which can be operated from any IOS device.
Providing Teesside’s leading drone survey company the equipment to carry out inspections within pipework, underneath assets, and tightly confined spaces where the Elios can’t be flown. the remote inspection rover is a secondary asset for close visual inspection of confined spaces.

Group Industrial contacted drone survey company DJM Aerial Solutions regarding use of their remote inspection rover to complete a specific project on some heat exchanger drain lines on the Teesside Biomass Power Station MGT.
Understanding drone survey was DJM Aerial Solutions specialty on further research found that the Teesside drone survey firm also had amongst their fleet of inspection drone technology a bespoke inspection rover used for tighter confined space survey.
The proposal was to initially carry out a visual inspection of any debris prior to running through the cleaning stage prior to commissioning. The visual inspection carried out the inspection rover was then utilised to pull through some pilot guidelines which would be attached to the cleaning device (PIG)
The PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge) is then pulled through the 120m pipeline exhausting the lines of any debris.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]
