Leading North East Drone Service Provider DJM Aerial Solutions have recently accessed 5K funding from Teesside Universities The Digital City after pitching their innovation and research and development plans to a panel of industry experts. The grant was awarded after the panel saw the benefits that the North East Drone firm was displaying in their pitch and subsequently awarded DJM Aerial Solutions the full amount of £5000.

DJM Aerial Solutions for the past 12months have been at the forefront of innovative technology and disruptive innovation utilising their fleet of high specification survey grade ROAV technology to carry out inspection and survey in a wide range of industries. Their experience in the engineering field has been tantamount towards their success in the drone service industry. Proving that their ability to provide not only a service but also a diagnostic after the inspection is carried out is an essential part of any inspection procedure. Essentially DJM Aerial Solutions are utilising the ROAV as an extension of their own capabilities opposed to predominantly a drone which has the capability to take aesthetic aerial photograph and Aerial Film.

With their engineering skills and technical ability alongside their own capability to improve standards and processes in a fast paced high risk environment DJM Aerial, MD Dan Maine was quickly able to establish client pain points and secure a plan to develop their own UAV to better assist their client base and iron out some of their ongoing problems.

DJM Aerial Solutions innovative solution was portrayed during their 15 minute pitch towards the panel and explained in fine detail how they plan on delivering and marketing their innovative product once developed fully. DJM Aerial Solutions were able to answer all questions to their full ability and were accepted into The Digital City Fellowship whilst being awarded the full amount of £5000 and invited onto an intense programme designed around research and development of innovative products and services.
