Teesside drone firm continues growing from strength to strength with another fleet investment.
Teesside drone company DJM Aerial Solutions has recently invested in the industry-leading Matrice 210v2, With huge success under their belts utilising the Matrice 210v1 an investment that has paid dividends in assisting their growth within the visual inspection and survey markets, The Matrice 210v2 has the required upgrades to take them to the next level within the visual inspection industry.
The Matrice range of UAS was developed around the requirement for close visual inspection CVI and survey utilising high-end GPS technology to navigate any asset requiring an integrity inspection process. The Matrice range of UAS are the perfect unmanned technology for close visual inspection of assets in difficult to reach environments.
DJM Aerial Solutions invested in the Matrice M210v1 in 2017 adding high-quality close visual inspection to their growing range of drone services. The M210 allows for dual-mounted sensor variation providing the ability to monitor using both visual and long-range visual data or thermal providing a plethora of options for those requiring both close visual inspection and thermography variations from a drone perspective.
Matrice M210v2
Company Director Dan Maine Added, “Our growing success utilising the M210v1 for close visual inspection of assets in the industrial sector has cemented our brand and company reputation into the books of local companies who see us as an asset, They are able to mobilise us at short notice to capture close visual or thermal data that can be made immediately available at their desktops in a short space of time, without the requirement for any shutdown of plan, or excessively long periods of planning for outages. We are able to collate the same results in a shorter period of time and less costly than traditional methods of close visual inspection such as erecting a scaffold, mobilising rope access personnel or working from an elevated work basket” Dan continued it was inevitable that as our company and reputation grew our fleet would need to expand and grow with it. So we have invested in both the Elios V2 and the M210V2 to allow transitional growth across the board.
Drone Asset Inspection
North East drone inspection company DJM Aerial solutions are well versed with both remote close visual inspection and thermal inspection utilising their expansive fleet of high-end drone technology. The inclusion of both M210V2 and Elios V2 is paramount to their growing operation and speaks volumes in terms of their ongoing drive and tenacity within the drone inspection market, especially during the current pandemic.
DJM Aerial Solutions have been at the top of the drone inspection and survey market within the northeast since they exploded onto the scene 4 years ago. Their recent fleet expansion has allowed them to further their growth with operations further afield in the North West, and as far down the Uk as Kent.
Internal Point Cloud Survey
Teesside drone inspection company DJM Aerial Solutions has had numerous enquiries to provide internal point cloud solutions of confined spaces such as storage tanks, culverts, drainage tunnels, and other internal environments and up until now there hasn’t been a solution available.
The Elios 2 provides the solution to accurately fly a pre-planned flight mission utilising light-sensing technology to measure the distance from elevations and bulkheads allowing for sufficient overlapping photogrammetry methods.
The makeup of the Elios 2 is such that the surrounding cage housing the UAS doesn’t cover up the UAV camera allowing full field of view unlike the Elios 1 which was limited due to the cage movement and its 4 axis gyroscopic technology. The Elios 2 cage is fixed however still allows the UAV to be fully protected from its surrounding environment.
